AI training for food and drink brands

Where does AI help a food and drink brand?

First we get people into a more ambitious mindset. We combine teaching practical AI skills with frameworks for applying them to your day-to-day work.

Two things tend to come out of that.

People start applying AI to work they already do every week, such as supplier updates, trading reports and product copy.

They also start looking at the bigger picture: where AI could have a material effect on the business, by finding bottlenecks and leverage points.

What should the training actually teach?

Tools change quickly. What lasts is a way of working on the tasks you already have:

  • A more ambitious mindset: looking at supplier updates, trading reports and product copy as places AI could do more.
  • What the tools can do: a clear sense of what they can draft on that work.
  • Frameworks for your own role: a way to apply AI to the weekly tasks already on the list, such as a customer question or a buyer pack.
  • A new way of working: using that approach between sessions, on the real work.

It should use your own tools and your own work. A session built on a generic demo is easy to forget by Monday.

How do you make the training stick?

We take a baseline measurement before people start. We then run a series of sessions over several weeks. That gives accountability and time to practise between sessions. It also means we never go more than a week or two without meeting, so we can help when someone has hit a block.

How Superposition does this

Superposition runs practical, in-person AI training for UK consumer brands, including food and drink, CPG, FMCG, DTC and e-commerce businesses typically doing £10m to £100m in revenue.

It is led by Laura Rosenberger, former COO of Naked Wines UK, a £100m+ DTC wine company, and co-founder of the drinks brand Laylo. She has run operations at a large DTC wine business and built a drinks brand from scratch.

  1. We get to know your business. We talk to your leaders and the people taking part about their work, tools and blockers.
  2. We run the sessions at your office. People use AI on their own work, with time to practise in between.
  3. We map the bigger opportunities. Your leaders get a map of where AI could help across the business, what each opportunity needs and the steps to take next.

We start with the work, not the tools. Sometimes the answer is a better process or a system you already have.

Frequently asked questions

Which food and drink teams benefit most from AI training?

You can train your whole company, selected teams or part of a team. We start by getting people into a more ambitious mindset, and we combine practical AI skills with frameworks for their day-to-day work and for where AI could have a material effect on the business.

Can AI write our allergen or nutrition information?

It should not be trusted to. Allergen and labelling information has to be accurate, and the Food Standards Agency publishes guidance on what food businesses must provide. AI can help with the admin around this work, but any allergen, nutrition, health or other regulated claim should be checked by the person responsible before it is used. Good training makes this rule explicit.

We already use ChatGPT or Copilot. Is training still useful?

Yes, especially if AI use is uneven across your team or you want clearer rules and a better view of what is working. We build the training on your own tools and tasks, so people practise together, agree what data they can use and review the results.

Is the training online or in person?

Superposition runs its training in person at your office, just for your team, using the tools you already have. London-based, other UK locations on request. People work on their own tasks with time to practise between sessions.

Where should your team focus on AI in 2027?
